CSC Workshop: Introduction to MATLAB and Generative AI: A Hands-On Workshop
In this session, you will learn how MATLAB can be used to visualize and analyze data, perform numerical computations, and develop algorithms. Through hands-on exercises and examples, you will see how MATLAB can help you become more effective in your work.
Highlights include:
- Accessing data from many sources (files, other software, hardware, etc.)
- Using interactive tools for iterative exploration, design, and problem solving
- Automating and capturing your work in easy-to-write scripts and programs
- Building and deploying interactive applications
- Utilizing MATLAB Copilot as programming tutor
We'll also explore MATLAB Copilot, a generative AI assistant that can accelerate your work by helping you understand existing codebases, generate code through natural language prompts, and enhance both curriculum development and research productivity.
This workshop is planned to take place in-person only (Milstein 516).
We look forward to seeing you there!
