Tara Anand

Tara Anand is a PhD student in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Columbia University. She graduated from Barnard College in 2020 where she studied Computer Science and Asian and Middle Eastern Cultures. Tara’s current research is in causal inference, specifically developing theory and methods to bridge existing work in causal inference supported by graphical models to application in high-dimensional domains like medicine. Tara is also passionate about work at the intersection of informatics and justice.
